Liverpool too far ahead in Premier League title race, says Chris Kirkland

Liverpool are too far to be caught this season, according to former Reds goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.
Following the champions suffered a shock defeat at the Etihad to Wolves, last weekend moved eight points clear of Manchester City.
Liverpool held a guide over City last season before losing the title by a single point on this campaigns last day.
Kirkland considers his former club are this season to let another comeback to City.
When asked when the Premier League name is really on its way to Anfield, Kirkland said:I do believe it is.
Last year was so unlucky. People today state losing by one stage was catastrophic, I would have dropped compared to be 15, 16 points behind City still.
I believe with Citys injury problems theyve got at the trunk, [Aymeric] Laporte is a massive miss, Vincent Kompany is a massive miss for these. At the back it is possible to get at them.
If we play them, if we could take points off them all of a sudden youre talking double amounts. Would you see us losing five or four games this year? Not how were playing.
Liverpool have the opportunity to split the Premier League record of 18 consecutive wins and have won eight of their league matches this season.
The Reds can accommodate Citys document if they beat bitter rivals Manchester United in OId Trafford on October 20, live on Sky Sports.
What a position to perform it. You would not put it past them, added Kirkland.
Manchester United are going through a difficult spell but Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] will be sure theyre up for this particular match.
The fans know what that means but I expect people to move there and find a result, I just dont believe that they can prevent us.
How we proceed forward, the way we defend, we are strong all over the pitch. I believe we will find the three points.
